Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has reiterated Delta State’s commitment to partnering with the Federal Government for the state’s socio-economic development. Speaking at the inauguration of the reconstructed 9.6km Abraka-Oben Road and the flag-off of the Abraka-Agbor Road reconstruction, Governor Oborevwori represented by Comrade Reuben Izeze, Commissioner for Works, emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving sustainable infrastructure growth. He commended the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for its intervention on the Abraka-Oben Road and called for the completion of the road to Benin.
Governor Oborevwori also noted the state’s interventions in federal road projects, including the Benin-Sapele and Benin-Warri highways. He reiterated that his administration remains dedicated to improving road infrastructure. He also commended President Bola Tinubu for supporting the NDDC and urged continuous federal investment and intervention in the Niger Delta region.
