Yesterday, the Isoko Women in Politics reaffirmed their unwavering support for the administration of His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, passing a Vote of Confidence and endorsing his re-election for a second term in 2027.

 

During a courtesy visit to Her Excellency, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, at government house, Asaba, the women expressed appreciation for the governor’s remarkable achievements, which have brought hope, development, and transformation to Delta State. They commended his visionary leadership, under which they have witnessed massive investments in infrastructure, including the ongoing Julius Berger road projects in the state—a project set to boost commerce, ease transportation, and elevate the quality of life for all Deltans.

 

Recognizing Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to education, they lauded his administration’s efforts in renovating schools, equipping learning institutions, and training teachers in alignment with the M.O.R.E. Agenda. The governor’s focus on girl-child education and empowerment programs was particularly praised, as it strengthens the foundation for the next generation of women leaders.
