Delta State Governor attended the 17th Convocation Ceremony of Delta State University, Abraka, where he also commissioned a 1-kilometer road linking the Faculty of Basic Sciences to the Faculty of Arts, constructed under the administration of the vice chancellor, professor Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba.
At the event, he enjoined the new graduates to see themselves as agents of change and problem solvers who should never give up on their dreams. He also approved automatic employment for the Overall Best Graduating Student, Okwa Favour Oghenemine, who achieved a CGPA of 4.95 with First Class honors in Mathematics.
It was heartwarming to witness three prominent Deltans honored with honorary doctorate degrees in the persons of: (1) Chief Broderick Uvieoghene Arigbodi, (2) Prof. Tanure Ojaide, and (3) High Chief Eta Enahoro.
While he urged the graduates to continue to excel in their future endeavors, I congratulate Chief Arigbodi, Prof. Ojaide, and High Chief Enahoro for the award of honorary doctorate degrees by DELSU Abraka.
