Afrobeats star David Adeleke, aka Davido, has once again paid a moving homage to his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, three years after a terrible incident that took the young child’s life.
The musician called his late son, Ifeanyi, a “legend” in a short but incredibly moving social media message, sparking a flurry of responses from colleagues and fans.
The emotional message was posted on Davido’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, and he simply wrote thus: “Ifeanyi David Adedeji Adeleke RIP LEGEND!!”

As of the time of writing this report, the post had received 11,000 likes, over 1.9 million views, and over 5,000 reposts on social media.
On October 31, 2022, Ifeanyi, Davido’s first son with his wife Chioma Rowland, tragically died after allegedly drowning at the family’s Lagos home on Banana Island.
