
THE BUREAU NEWSPAPER reports that Legendary WWE Hall of Famer, Hulk Hogan, is dead.
The wrestling icon, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, reportedly passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida residence.
According to U.S. media reports, emergency responders rushed to Hogan’s home Thursday morning following distress calls.
Paramedics and police patrol vehicles were spotted outside the property, before the former world champion was wheeled out on a stretcher and taken away in an ambulance.
Hogan, widely regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, became a global phenomenon in the 1980s and 1990s, headlining WWE (then WWF) with unforgettable matches and a larger-than-life persona.
His signature “Hulkamania” era made him a cultural icon, selling out arenas and dominating pay-per-view events for decades.
He was 71.
As of press time, Clearwater Police are yet to release an official statement on the cause of death.
Fans worldwide have begun pouring tributes for the wrestling legend who changed the face of professional wrestling.
