E first go meet im parents, Time and Night, talk say dem no be the type wey go fit understand wetin e carry for mind. (Every paddy wey go try understand is own matter for life go relate.) Him dey wave goodbye to all the colorful characters wey dey im palace and even im immortal human buddy, Hob Gadling.
But na wah! Wetin come happen be say Daniel, di baby wey Morpheus hand over Dreaming powers to, don shake body enter wahala when Loki and Puck carry am go hide somewhere. E mama, Lyta, come vex come blame Morpheus say na him kidnap im baby. Before she fit realize say na Furies manipulate am to do all dat, na so gist don don spoil. E no fit control di fight wey come after.
Comot hand for dis matter, Morpheus don see say him dey face big wahala, and after e no fit sweet-talk the Furies for im life, him take major decision. Morpheus, wey don dey feel say e don fail everybody, sacrifice himself to save di Dreaming. E want to free imself from all di endless responsibilities wey dey weigh him down.
By d time show end, Daniel don grow to adult, played by Jacob Anderson, wey sabi act through di thick and thin. E don dey consider the weight of being di new Dream, while all di other characters come gather for Morpheus funeral. Na so dem all dey wonder wetin go fit happen next.
