Fans of Sport Reclife have mocked former Barcelona forward,
Neymar Junior, saying the Brazilian will never win the Ballon d’Or.
The fans mocked the former PSG and Barcelona star during
their side’s 2-2 draw with Santos over the weekend.
Their attempt to get under the player’s skin seemed to have
worked, with the former Barcelona winger failing to register a goal
contribution in the game.
The home fans came with loudspeakers while many of them wore
masks of Neymar’s Brazilian actress Bruna Marquezine.
The fans also held up banners in one of which they told the
former Al-Hilal star that it is over for him to win the most prestigious
individual award in football.
It read (via Tribuna), “Will never have the Ballon d’Or.”
Neymar returned to Brazilian Serie A side, Santos in January
2025 after a torrid spell at Al-Hilal.
