Interim National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), David Mark, has issued a stern warning to members of the party and the broader opposition coalition, declaring zero tolerance for anti-party activities and indiscipline.
Speaking on Tuesday, during a meeting with party members in Abuja, Mark emphasised the need for loyalty and commitment as the ADC repositions ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“There will be zero tolerance for anti-party and any form of indiscipline; you are either in ADC or not in ADC,” the former Senate President declared.
“No mid-way in this business and those not with us, we will not carry them along.”
Mark stressed that only those fully aligned with the party’s goals and vision will be involved in its operations. “Those who are not totally committed will not be carried along,” he warned.
He also revealed that efforts were underway to revamp the party’s grassroots structures from the polling unit level to the national stage.
“We shall reverse our grassroots leadership structures to reflect modern realities… Every organ reenergised,” he said.
Mark added that the party would open its doors to younger generations. “We will open the gates for the next generations. Our policies, nominations, and roles will reflect such.”
