The win sends Nigeria to their fifth consecutive AfroBasket final, as they continue their pursuit of a historic fifth straight title.
D’Tigress remain unbeaten in the tournament since 2015, extending their winning streak to 28 games.

Despite trailing by eight points at the start of the fourth quarter, the Nigerian side mounted a stunning comeback, showcasing the resilience and dominance that have defined their decade-long reign in African women’s basketball.
They will face the winner of the Mali vs. South Sudan semi-final in Sunday’s championship game, scheduled for August 3.
