Barcelona midfielder, Dani Olmo, has claimed that the club have performed better than archrivals, Real Madrid in the 2025 summer transfer market.
Los Blancos have signed high-profile players, such as Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, while Barça also brought in some top players, including Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.
So far, Xabi Alonso’s side boasts of four new signings, one more than Barca’s three.
Speaking in an interview with Cope, Olmo, a Spain international, asserted that the Catalans had eclipsed Los Blancos in terms of the quality of their additions.
“We have made better signings than Real Madrid,” Olmo said.
Real Madrid did not win a single trophy last season despite signing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
Handled by Carlo Ancelotti, the Spain capital city club were defeated four times by Barcelona.
Barca have also signed Joan Garcia and Roony Bardghji this season.
