Former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai declared he joined politics to serve humanity and urged Nigerians to vote out the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.

El-Rufai made the remarks on Saturday, while addressing youths in Sokoto State during a mobilisation event organised by the opposition coalition.

“The APC has become incompetent and clannish. It poses a threat to the unity of our country,” El-Rufai warned.

El-Rufai, once a key APC figure, has joined the opposition coalition backing the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to challenge the APC in 2027.

The former minister urged Nigerians to unite and rescue the country from what he called continued misrule.
