Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua, a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC), has unequivocally reaffirmed his loyalty to the ruling party, dismissing rumors of a potential defection. 


In a statement issued on Monday, August 4, 2025, the senator addressed speculative reports circulating in the media, urging journalists and the public to disregard claims suggesting he was leaving the APC.


“I wish to categorically reaffirm my unwavering commitment and support for the All Progressives Congress (APC),” Senator Yar’Adua declared. 


“I urge the press to disregard any speculative headlines suggesting my defection from the party.” 


The statement was released to counter unverified reports that had gained traction, particularly on social media platforms like X, where rumors of political realignments have been rife ahead of the 2027 general elections.


Senator Yar’Adua, known for his influential role within the APC and his contributions to legislative efforts, emphasized his dedication to the party’s mission of advancing Nigeria’s development. 


“My loyalty lies with the APC, and I remain committed to working with my colleagues to strengthen our party and deliver on our promises to Nigerians,” he stated.
