Calvin Harris and Vick Hope have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Micah.
The Scottish DJ and record producer announced the news via Instagram on Monday, sharing several personal photos from the birth. His wife, TV and radio presenter Vick Hope, gave birth on July 20.
“20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here!” the 41-year-old captioned the post.
“My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom!”
He continued, “Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah.”
Among the photos shared were a touching image of Harris holding his newborn son and another of Hope, 35, in a birthing pool.
Calvin Harris also posted a picture of what appeared to be his wife’s placenta, followed by images of it in a food dehydrator and a jar of supplements presumably made from the placenta.
The post attracted warm congratulations from fellow celebrities. Norwegian DJ Kygo commented, “Congrats!!” while singer Craig David wrote, “Congratulations to you both. Amazing.” Former Love Island UK host Laura Whitmore added, “Congrats to you both! Enjoy the magic x.”
Calvin Harris and Hope were first romantically linked in January 2022 and tied the knot in September 2023.
