Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has taken a swipe at her colleague Iyabo Ojo over the latter’s petition against CP Uche Ifeanyi Henry, the Director of the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC), amid the lingering social media feud involving controversial figure, VeryDarkMan.
In a fiery live video that has since gone viral, Doris fiercely defended CP Uche and called out Iyabo Ojo for what she described as baseless and h¥pocritical accusations. Iyabo had earlier petitioned top government officials, accusing CP Uche of enabling VeryDarkMan and handling the cybercr+me case with bias.
She reminded the public that it was this same CP Uche who once ordered the arrest and detention of VeryDarkMan over comments he made about Bobrisky’s alleged ties with politicians.
“If you saw how they handc¥ffed VeryDarkMan, you’d think he was a terr%rist,” Doris said, narrating how the influencer was transferred from the gender-based unit to the NCCC and detained for a full week — a move she claims happened when CP Uche wasn’t even in the country.
According to her, the arrest led to serious behind-the-scenes drama, including calls and pleas from people like music promoter Don Lulu and blogger Tunde Ednut for VeryDarkMan’s release.
“This same man [CP Uche] that you’re now insulting, who detained VeryDarkMan for one week is the same person you say is enabling him?” Doris queried, adding that Iyabo’s claims came only after the case stopped going in her favor.
Doris didn’t hold back, describing CP Uche as a disciplined, corruption-free officer who once served as an ADC to a president. She slammed Iyabo for “disrespecting” such a highly placed officer who, according to her, had treated her with dignity ,even granting her bail and allowing a police-mediated agreement between her and Naira Marley.
“You had no proof to back all the def@mation and cyberb¥llying you meted on Naira Marley,” Doris alleged. “You walked in there with Tonto Dikeh, yet you call him a VeryDarkMan enabler.”
