_Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria_ - OneDelta Foundation, a non-profit organization, has launched a groundbreaking initiative aimed at addressing the neglect and societal pressures faced by the boy child in Nigeria. The "Save the Boy Child" initiative, launched in Asaba, Delta State, seeks to empower and support the boy child through education, mentorship, and economic empowerment.

 

According to the Founder of OneDelta Foundation, Mr. Abraham Oba, "The boy child is often overlooked and neglected in our society, leading to a cycle of poverty, violence, and underachievement. We aim to break this cycle by providing a supportive ecosystem for the boy child to thrive."

 

The initiative will focus on:

 

- Providing educational scholarships and mentorship to vulnerable boys

- Establishing vocational training centers for skills development

- Offering counseling and mental health support

- Creating economic empowerment opportunities through entrepreneurship and job placement

 

OneDelta Foundation has partnered with local organizations, schools, and government agencies to ensure a comprehensive approach to addressing the challenges faced by the boy child in Delta State.
