According to Governor Sheriff he says that “we had the chance to elect the new Exco of the Delta State chapter of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at the party's Congress held at the Cenotaph in Asaba, under the watch of the State Congress Electoral Committee Chairman, Prof. Frank Collins Okafor. Chief Solomon Areyenka emerged as the newly elected party chairman”.
Also present were representatives of INEC, independent observers, and other relevant stakeholders. I charged the new incoming Exco to work hard to unite the party, make it stronger, and position it to win future elections, as well as to immediately key into the MORE Agenda of our administration.
