The Delta State Government led by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has continued to foster sustainable educational policies and programmes that promote student well-being across the state.
Today, in recognition of these efforts, Governor Oborevwori was inducted into the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Hall of Fame, during a courtesy visit by the executive members and leaders of NANS and the National Association of Delta State Students (NADESSTU), led by Comrade Lucky Emonefe, Global President of NANS.
Governor Oborevwori while addressing the delegation reiterated his belief in education as a powerful platform for empowering young people. He also emphasized his administration’s dedication to effectively managing universities in the state, ensuring that qualified students have access to institutions that not only align with their academic interests but also their economic capabilities. “We encourage the establishment of more universities in Delta State because we value education. This provides qualified students with greater choices, and convenience in their educational pursuit”, he stated.
