Michelle Alozie’s stoppage time goal sealed a hard-fought 2-1 win for Super Falcons against South Africa in the semi-final clash.
The game, which was heading for extra-time, Alozie sent in a long ball into the box which the South African goal keeper on Tuesday.
Captain Rasheedat Ajibade had given the Super Falcons the lead from the penalty spot in the first half, but Linda Motlhalo equalised for Banyana Banyana also from the penalty spot in the second half.

INFORMATION NIGERIA reports that this will be Super Falcons’ first appearance in the final since the 2018 tournament in Ghana.
South Africa dominated the possession with 55-45 but the the Nigeria’s side had seven shots on target to the opposition’s three.
With the win on Tuesday, the nine-time champions stay on track for a record-extending 10th WAFCON title.
They will face either host nation Morocco or regional rivals, Black Queens Of Ghana in the final on Sunday.
