According to Football Italia, dem don flag Okoye for some suspicious betting activity wey happen during Udinese’s 2-1 win against Lazio for March 11, 2024. Dis gaffer even collect yellow card for time-wasting in 64th minute na im makeup everything curious. Omo, bettors no sleep as dem wan cash out with serious odds of 8/1! Na so dem win over €120,000, wey na serious money o, especially from Udine area. (Some people no sabi when to bet, abeg!)
As investigation begin, Okoye plus three of im padi dem go face disciplinary commission in June 2025.
