Air Peace has announced temporary flight disruptions after one of its aircraft suffered a bird strike shortly after takeoff on Thursday morning.
In a statement titled “Air Return Due To Bird Strike,” the airline’s spokesman, Osifo-Whiskey Efe, said the airline is working diligently to minimise the disruptions.
The statement read: “This morning, Flight P47100, operating the Lagos-Enugu route, experienced a bird strike and had to make an air return for safety checks.
“We sincerely empathise with our passengers over the inconvenience caused and appeal for your patience and understanding as we work diligently to minimise disruptions”.

The airline noted that it remains “steadfast in upholding the highest safety standards, and the safety of our passengers and crew continues to be our top priority”.
