Nigerian street-pop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has rejected a ₦100 million offer proposed by talent manager and entertainment executive Soso Soberekon for a boxing match against social media activist Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan.

Soso Soberekon had earlier announced the fight proposal on his verified Instagram page on Sunday, offering a total purse of ₦120 million — ₦100 million for the winner and ₦20 million for the loser. He also named KFT Event Center in Warri, Delta State as the proposed venue.

The proposal followed a heated online clash between Portable and VeryDarkMan, during which both parties released diss tracks and traded insults.

In a video response on his Instagram page, Portable dismissed the ₦100 million prize as too small. He claimed that he regularly receives such sums from his fan base and would only consider entering the ring if offered ₦1 billion.

“That ₦100m, my fans give it to me. ₦100m is small for me to fight VDM. Let them give me one billion, I will fight him and beat him,” he said.

“If anybody can drop ₦1bn, I will fight him. Someone you can’t hold, you are now asking me to fight and beat him. You are scared of him, you can’t jail him.”

The public challenge was made shortly after their feud escalated, drawing significant attention on social media.
