Popular reality TV star and media personality Seyi Awolowo has showered praise on Nigerian men—particularly Yoruba men—for their charm, work ethic, and the respectful way they treat women.

In an interview with journalist Femi Obong-Daniels, the 34-year-old former Big Brother Naija housemate emphasized that Nigerian men are not only hardworking and fun-loving but also possess a natural flair for handling relationships with confidence and class.

“We know how to take care of our women. Even those who criticize us deep down know the truth,” Seyi said. “Women from other countries are looking for Nigerian men because they know we appreciate and treat our women well.”

He further praised Yoruba men for their unique sense of style, charisma, and the ability to understand women’s body language, especially in social settings.

“We’re not loud. We just know how to enjoy life, work hard, and play even harder,” he continued. “Whether it’s at a bar or a party, we know how to read the room and use our wingmen right. We’ve got finesse, we’ve got game.”

Awolowo’s remarks come amid ongoing debates on social media about how Nigerian men treat women in relationships. His comments have sparked mixed reactions, with many agreeing with his sentiment, while others argue that these traits aren’t universal.
