Naira Marley

Naira Marley has once again stirred social media after sharing a cryptic post quoting a verse from the Holy Quran.

On his official X page, the Marlian Music boss wrote:
“O believers, if an evildoer brings you any news, verify it so you do not harm people unknowingly, becoming regretful for what you have done.” – Quran 49:6

The post has sparked fresh reactions online, with many interpreting it as a subtle reference to the backlash he faced following the death of his former signee, Mohbad.

In 2023, Naira Marley was heavily criticised and accused by some members of the public of having a hand in Mohbad’s tragic passing, claims he has consistently denied.

While the singer didn’t provide any explanation alongside the verse, the timing and tone of the message have led many to believe he is indirectly addressing those who, in his view, rushed to judgment without proper facts.
