Grammy-nominated Afrobeats star Davido has reflected on his early days in the industry, sharing a lighthearted memory involving Don Jazzy and D’Banj.
In a viral video on Tuesday, the Unavailable singer recounted how, between 2007 and 2009, he freestyled for the Mo’Hits duo at his father’s house in Atlanta before being sent on food errands.

“In Atlanta, 2007 or 2008 or 2009… In my father’s house, I was freestyling for Don Jazzy and D’Banj. He sent me to go and buy McDonald’s with my papa car, Rolls Royce,” Davido said.
