Thelma Lawson has clinched the interim Head of House (HoH) title for the second week of Big Brother Naija Season 10.
Following Sunday night’s live eviction show, Big Brother called all housemates to the arena for the weekly HoH games. For the challenge, contestants were separated by gender and asked to fill bottles with water as quickly as possible.
In the female category, Thelma came out on top, while Jason Jae secured victory on the male side. Both winners proceeded to the final round, which required them to balance eggs on a deck using a spoon—a test of speed and precision. Thelma outperformed Jason in the task, earning her the interim HoH title.
As part of her privileges, Thelma selected Kayikunmi as her guest in the HoH lounge for the week.
However, her reign could be short-lived. Under the show’s new twist, she must defend her title in a special HoH challenger round set for Monday. If another contestant surpasses her performance, she risks losing her leadership position.
Taking to Instagram, the show organizers wrote, “@thereal_thelma did it for the girlies! The second HoH challenge kicked off with a bang, and former Head of House @iam_jasonjae was dethroned.
The crowned interim HoH, will have to defend her title in the upcoming HoH Challenger.”
Season 10 of BBNaija premiered on July 28 with a two-part launch event and features the show’s biggest cash prize to date—₦150 million for the ultimate winner.
The season has already sparked conversations online, especially after a heated moment between housemates Kayikunmi and Isabella during the post-party hours on Saturday night.
