The burning issue today in Delta North is Senator Ned Nwoko's renewed quest for the creation of Anioma state. It has taken over every political discourse anywhere people are gathered in different parts of the state, especially within the Anioma territory.

Whether the people are desirous to have Anioma state is no longer in contention, a consensus has been built on the growing need to have Anioma state as soon as

possible. The support and solidarity are overwhelming, the man behind the renewed quest has become emboldened by the feedback coming from our people and he is motivated to put everything to ensure the actualisation of the Anioma project.

A lot of explanations on the benefits of having an Anioma state have been done and our people have come to terms with them, the message has sunk deeper to the point that it has become a household anthem.

As the stakeholders meet this Saturday at the behest of the Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko, one is doubtless that the meeting will be a louder affirmation of the echoes from the streets and households in Anioma land.

For the first time since the return of democratic governance, we can boldly say that we now have a representative we see, feel touch and share with. We are no longer dumbs in the affairs of our nation, our voices as Anioma people are heard and answered because we have someone who is genuinely committed to the plight of our people.

Senator Ned Nwoko has never been weary of doing what is of general interest and good. He has sold himself out to service to the Nation and Delta North in particular. His training and exposure have equipped him with simple, workable solutions to complex problems. He has never failed to offer his ideas, intellect, resources, and capacity to nation-building.

It has been repeatedly proven that Ned Nwoko is a tireless goal-getter. He will not stop because he is tired, he can only stop when the result is achieved. What gives him strength is his sincerity and genuine love for humanity.

With Senator Ned Nwoko, Anioma state will be achieved, due largely to the fact that the people want the State to be created, including those whose alignment with some political interests has deprived them of the boldness to support openly. All of them need an Anioma state.

Anioma people are happy with their Senator, his popularity is soaring, he has opened his heart for them to see, and he is unreserved in his dealings with the affairs of others, especially his constituents.

It is not arguable that a few persons may not be comfortable with his representative model, in politics we always have such people, they are incurably desperate, their interests are always not people-oriented, and they frown at good work and fight against it. The shocker is that Sen. Ned Nwoko is like an eagle that soars amidst the storms.
