Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has fired back at social media critic VeryDarkMan with a diss track, following the latter’s scathing remarks about him.
The feud intensified after VeryDarkMan dropped a diss track early Wednesday, mocking Portable over his past controversies.
The track opens with a viral clip accusing Portable of stealing a tricycle, followed by repeated chants of “Ole!” (thief), ridiculing the singer as someone with *“no grace.”

Portable, known for his fiery comebacks, posted a preview of his diss track aimed at VeryDarkMan on Instagram.
In the track, Portable lashed out at the activist with personal jabs, calling him “poor” and accusing him of being “gay.”
He further hurls derogatory remarks at VDM’s family while fiercely denying the theft allegations.
“VeryDarkMan, your mother/ You are a poor person/ Your mother is a p********e/ Your father is a shoe maker/ I take after my father/ I am not a thief / Stop calling me a thief,” he sings.
This isn’t the first time VDM and Portable have clashed. Back in 2024, the activist criticised the singer for assaulting a man at Felabration, prompting Portable to threaten physical retaliation if they ever crossed paths.
