Kaduna, Nigeria – Aisha Buhari, the widow of late former President Muhammadu Buhari, don pack her load waka from Daura, Katsina State, come settle for her husband’s house in Kaduna State. Na last Sunday, she and her family members land at Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna, as dem welcome dem well well.
Di welcome committee no dey joke; dem come led by Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, plus Hon. Munira Tanimu, di Majority Leader for Kaduna State House of Assembly. Na big family reunion be this one! (You fit hear dem shout “Omo Naija!” as dem come down)
To remind you, Buhari don move go im Kaduna residence back in February 2025. Since den, he dey call dat place home as he don spend almost two years for Daura before he find himself in di big house for Ungwan Rimi GRA. But we all know how e take end; na for im final trip to London for medical check-up, we lose him.
Di former president breathe im last on June 13, 2025, for one clinic wey dem no gree talk wetin de worry am. Two days later, na so dem carry im body go back to where e come from for Daura, Katsina State. E get wetin dem fit call state burial, full military honour—na so dem take show am last respect. (E sure say dem carry plenty palm wine go there too!)
Now Aisha don move with her family to Kaduna, we dey wonder how life go be for dem without di big man around. E no easy o, but life wey be like palm oil wey dey run, nobody fit stop am. We go dey follow di matter as e dey unfold. (No wahala, Naija spirit strong!)
