Paul Ibe, the media aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has told Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, to concentrate on the job he was appointed to do instead of dissipating his energy talking about the former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Keyamo had, during an interview session on Channels Television on Sunday, spent a considerable time speaking on the chances of Atiku and Peter Obi in the 2027 general elections.

He also spoke extensively on the chances of the ADC in the presidential election.

“There were three demographics that delivered Peter Obi 6 million votes in 2023. All of these will collapse if Peter Obi is made a deputy to Atiku. The Christian demographic will pull out, and the South-East that supports Obi will also pull out once it’s Atiku,” Keyamo stated.

Also speaking on the ADC, Keyamo said:

”The format the ADC coalition is using is expired. Nigerians know them and won’t fall for that…Peter Obi can’t penetrate the North because we have all our structures.”

While reacting to Keyamo’s comments in a post on X late Sunday, Ibe said the minister was crying more than the bereaved and should face his ministry instead of dabbling into areas outside his purview.

“Dear Mr Festus (Stephanie Otobo) Keyamo,
Why are you crying louder than the bereaved? With all the outstanding assignments needing your urgent attention in the aviation sector, you still have time to play Nostradamus over 2027,” Ibe wrote.

“Why don’t you allow the ADC to make the “mistake” you are talking about so that the APC will benefit from it? Truth be told, you and your Tinubu-led APC government are scared-shit of the threat posed by the @ADCcoalition.”
